The Hidden Landscapes Vol. 1: Diversity

Stell dir vor, du schaust auf die Erde herab. Stell dir vor, du fliegst wie ein Vogel und schaust auf ausgetrocknete Flüsse, Wälder, Berge, Felder oder vulkanisches Gebiet. Viele beeindruckende Luftaufnahmen haben mich zu diesen Fotos inspiriert. In dieser Serie spiele ich mit der Kombination von Makrofotografie und einer speziellen Form der "Luftbildfotografie". Vielleicht hast du es schon entdeckt: Diese Bilder zeigen die versteckten Landschaften, die du auf der Rinde von Bäumen findest. Ich war überrascht, Mikrolandschaften wie aus der Vogelperspektive zu entdecken, an einem Ort, an dem ich sie nicht erwartet habe. Es ist faszinierend, dass sich Landschaften in einem ganz anderen Kontext in der Natur wiederholen - mit Fantasie und Vorstellungskraft betrachtet.

Imagine you are looking down on earth. Imagine you are flying like a bird and looking down on dried up rivers, forests, mountains, agriculture fields or volcanic areas. These images are inspired by numerous aerial photographs I've seen lately. In this series I turn the results of macro photography into a special kind of "aerial photography". Maybe you've already detected it: these picutures show the hidden landscapes you can find on the bark of trees. I was surprised about this micro landscapes like you can see them through a bird's eye, at a place where I did't expected them. It's magic that landscapes in a completely different context repeat themselves in nature - observed with imagination.
