Das Vitra Haus auf dem Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein beherbergt den Vitra Flagship Store sowie Ausstellungsräume für die Möbelkollektionen. Passend dazu ließen sich die Architekten von der typischen Hausform mit Satteldach inspirieren. So besteht das VitraHaus aus Giebelhäusern, die vervielfacht, gestreckt und ineinander verschachtelt wurden. Insgesamt 12 Häuser sind in der Anlage zu finden.
The Vitra Haus, located at the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein, Germany, houses the Vitra flagship store as well as showrooms for the furniture collections. In keeping with this, the architects took their inspiration from the typical house shape with a gabled roof. The VitraHaus thus consists of gabled houses which were multiplied, elongated and nested within each other. A total of 12 houses can be found in the arrangement.
